The difference
What one-of-one actually means here
One of one means one. Then it is gone.
We cast your design once and retire it. Nobody else gets it, we do not run a second, and we do not quietly add it to a catalogue in eighteen months. That is the entire product and we would have nothing to sell without it.
Solid silver, not silver-colored
Hand-poured .999 fine silver, weighed and X-ray verified before it ships. Not plated, not filled, not sterling. The weight in your hand is the weight on the invoice.
We will tell you when the idea will not cast
Some shapes do not survive contact with molten metal. Thin projections, unsupported spans and very fine detail all have limits, and we would rather redesign with you than pour something that arrives disappointing.
It is art, not an investment
You are buying a hand-finished object that happens to be made of silver. It has a metal value and we will buy it back on that basis at any time. What we will not do is imply it will appreciate, because we have no idea and neither does anyone selling you one.

If the idea will not cast well, we will tell you and suggest how to change it — rather than pour something that arrives disappointing.
FAQ
Common questions
- What does one-of-one actually mean?
- We cast your design once and retire it. No second run, and it never quietly appears in a catalogue later.
- Is it solid silver?
- Yes — .999 fine, hand-poured in the USA, weighed and X-ray verified before shipping. Not plated, not filled.
- How much does it cost?
- Weight drives it, and silver moves daily, so there is no price list. Tell us the size and subject and you get a range quickly.
- How long does it take?
- Longer than most people expect. Tell us your deadline at the brief and we will be straight about whether it is achievable.
- Can I see it before it is cast?
- Yes. You approve a digital sculpt first, and nothing is poured until you say so.
- Can I return it?
- Made-to-order work is final. There is a standing buy-back at 95–98% of silver spot for the metal weight, which is a floor rather than a refund.
- Is this an investment?
- No, and we will not pretend otherwise. It is art with a metal floor under it.
- Can you make a licensed character?
- No. Everything we make is original expressive art. We are not licensed by any brand or studio and do not claim to be.
